The Spa is literally stellar, with a stared studded dome diffusing a magical light on to the inviting sea water swimming pool. Offering state of the art Thermes Marins of Carthage, the Thalasso Spa combines the style of Roman baths and Oriental hammams. Excellent treatments include luxurious massages, Endermology, hydrotherapy and heavenly facials using the Darphin range, all administered by an expert team of therapists that will leave you feeling wonderfully pampered. The Moorish theme continues to the flowing public areas, with clean lines of Alicante marble and locally-crafted urns to the comfortable and spacious bedrooms, all with the benefit of their own balconies. The food does not disappoint either; be sure to indulge in the sumptuous buffet breakfast with local specialities and home made Tunisian delicacies or opt for the Dukan diet program. Impressively, this was the first establishment to feature this now super-popular diet, available in all of the four signature restaurants. Whether for a business break, for adventure (being located just 20 minutes away from Carthage, it provides an excellent base to discover local historical villages, sites and mosques), for leisure (the plethora of beach activities will certainly keep the kids busy!) or simply for a relaxing and enchanting break the Residence Tunis certainly ranks as one of our favorite classic retreats.
